Jim Kuerschner is the President and Employee #1 of KULE, a lifestyle brand built on classic pieces with a happy wink. Since relaunching the brand in 2015 with founder Nikki Kule, he has built a robust digital business, opened three brick and mortar stores, and expanded wholesale distribution to accounts like Bergdorf Goodman, Bloomingdales, Shopbop, and specialty stores around the world. Under his leadership, KULE has grown its revenue nearly 40x while developing a devoted following of editors, stylists, celebrities, and stripe fans. KULE has also collaborated with a wide array of brands, including: Bergdorf Goodman, Madewell, West Elm, Brooklinen, Bandier, and many others.

Prior to KULE, Kuerschner managed retail operations and in-store technology for Inditex, bringing RFID technology to Zara stores across the US and Canada. He started his career in sales and merchandising at Carolina Herrera. He is a business mentor with RaiseFashion and the CFDA, and a graduate of NYU and Harvard Business School.

He splits his time between Brooklyn and Bellport with his husband and two goldendoodles. He's an active member of the Choral Society, and a mentor with the HBS LGBTQ+ Alumni Association.
